My favorite spot.....fishing, bird watching....I am not shy about correcting inappropriate behavior and outdoor etiquette ....DNR can't be everywhere
Only thing is its always crowded and unless your the 1st people there youll never have close parking
This section has went way down hill since I first visited. They shut the parking lot down for the whole summer every year because people treat it like a trash can. Broken bottles all over and foreigners over fish it and leave trash all over.
Please carry you garbage out with you! Beautiful clear water. Plenty of secluded areas to sit and enjoy the scenery and quiet
